What's Happening December 6-10
- We are reading Voyage of the Dawn Treader aloud in class. We should have about half of it read by Friday, the day we go see the movie! (Parents are welcome to come. You will just pay for your movie as you come in. Lunch is across the parking lot at Los Amigos.)
- Students are starting a writing piece these last few weeks before Christmas Break. It will be a work in progress. I believe they are excited about this writing piece because they came up with the writing prompt! The topics range from Human Decency to Bullying. Types of writing to choose from are: letters, speeches, or articles.
- We are studying about Verbs this week in Grammar. Being, Linking, Verb Tenses, and Irregular Verbs.
- Last day to earn AR points for this nine weeks is Dec. 16. The second nine weeks party will be a movie, donut, and hot chocolate party on the morning of Dec. 17.
