March 19-22 (No School Friday, 23rd)
It's College and Career Week! This week we will be examining students' career choices from their ILPs and writing an informational passage about their job choices. Thursday will be a special day, as students get to dress up as their job or college choice. Also, Richard Henson, broom-maker and retired teacher, coach, principal, will be here as a guest speaker to discuss decision-making, setting goals, and workplace skills.
Students will be MAP testing in Reading Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the computer lab. Language the following week, and Math April 9, 10, and 11th. We are seeing progress as the school-year gets closer to the end! Encourage your child to do their best on this last round of MAP testing!
Spring Break April 2-6
KPREP Testing Starts April 30 and ends on Thursday, May 3 for 6th grade.
6th grade trip to Renaissance Festival Friday, May 4. Please be at school at 5:30a.m. We plan to return by 6:00-6:30. Check out the Tennessee Renaissance Festival website at www.tnrenfest.com
